the start of spring, 2025

Aaah spring.

I, as a rule, generally loathe April. But this one has provided much wonders. March was also almost entirely dedicated to the pursuit of Adventure — as we visited family in Japan! We went to Tokyo, Fukuoka, Kyoto, Kumamoto, and Osaka. Rather a whirlwind you know! Rich with inspiration, crowded cities, quiet countries, and plenty of smiskis — we already long to go back.

Returning home from traveling is always an odd experience. You have to get reacquainted with things so familiar. And with projects too! A proper book dummy has been complete (yippee!) and some other, pebbly, projects are in the works too. I’ve also been exploring a bit o’ a mystery story, to venture into some other genres/age groups rather than just picture books. :)
