Hannah Tendo is a scribbler and doodler based in Hawaii. She has indie published a set of pebble-themed picture books over at pebbleprose, which focus on a gang of pebbles, potted plants, and christmas tree baubles — most of which are keen on solving mysteries.
Pebbleprose has extended itself into 3D printed pet pebbles, a bi-weekly pebble-themed newsletter, and public art in the form of missing rock posters. (It seems an unhealthy obsession with pebbles, I’d say.)
Away from pebbles, she is often toiling at other picture book ideas, along with longer stories for older audiences.
When not in her treehouse studio, Hannah likes to refurbish typewriters, bake, watch old movies (partial to silly musicals), and read an absurd amount of P.G. Wodehouse.
